“The thing I like about ATLAS is that you are basically your own principal and you have to make sure you yourself get the work done.”
--Ben - 12th Grader
“Not all children thrive in a traditional school setting and, for our family, ATLAS Learning Academy is the alternative educational option we need. Our daughter is able to participate in volunteer activities she really wants to join in as well as school related activities like art, leadership and outdoor education. ATLAS has it all.”
--Todd and Wendy - Parents of 11th Grader
"ATLAS is such a great program! The fact that I get to travel, work, and still have time for school is so awesome. I love that I have the privilege to work at my own pace because I can still have a life while also focusing on my priorities."
--Desteny - 12th Grader
“For me, ATLAS has been a great way to advance with my credits. The flexibility of this program is even better. I am able to communicate with my teacher at any time throughout the week on our Remind App. This program is also really flexible and fair with letting you choose the day, and time you are able to come in for testing. The teacher is very motivating and always pushing you to get the hours that are required to be done, and to always be striving to get more credits than required. Not only that, but you are also able to work at your own pace and work on the subjects you want to focus the most on.”
--Iridiana - 12th Grader
"I like the flexibility and being able to fit my school time around my schedule versus having to work around specific hours. I ended up choosing ATLAS over Horizon because of its location, affiliation with Lincoln High School, as well as it providing the opportunity to have a normal graduation ceremony. The fact that I'm able to enroll in college courses is what ultimately made me make up my mind."
--Tessa - 12th Grader
“I love ATLAS Learning Academy because it allows me to do more things that I want to do. I can do school work any time which enables me to fit in all of my other activities that include dance, singing, gymnastics, piano, violin, and Spanish. I get to learn at my own pace and together Mr. Salinger and I set goals. Learning is now something I look forward to.”
--Lindsey - 5th Grader
“ATLAS is absolutely an amazing program. I like it because it is a program that lets you work at your own pace and also because we get to go on hiking and ski trips. ATLAS fits my life because I have a lot of MMA training with UFC fighters in the morning. If I was in regular school, I wouldn't find the time to get in all of this training. In my personal opinion, ATLAS is mostly for people who are very independent and like to teach themselves things. It is also right for people who are focusing on a specific sport and have so much training to where regular school will cut into the hours. That's also why ATLAS is a work at your own pace program. These are the reasons as to why I like this program. These reasons should make it to where you like it too!”

"My son is currently a student in the ATLAS program. We were looking for a program that would fit his educational needs as well as give him the flexibility to focus on his wrestling & MMA. He has always been an over achiever academically. He found the traditional public school extremely easy. We knew that he would be a good candidate for the program because he was a good student academically and he wanted more flexibility to train. The ATLAS program has given him a challenge academically. This is the first year that he has not just flown through his assignments. The program offers a wonderful outdoor learning experience as well. They take several trips a year exploring the great outdoors. Along with those field trips comes learning about the outdoors as well; something you won't likely get in traditional public school. My son attended one trip and the pictures of the scenery were gorgeous! We are very pleased with the ATLAS program."

"Atlas is a great experience. Having the ability to be co-enrolled in LHS or a Jr. College is very beneficial to my future. Along with that, being an IS student and going on outing and camping trips, is a great investment in my future. I really like the choice to have a homeschool like option while staying in the normal school district, it gives me a lot of flexibility."

“Choosing ATLAS Learning Academy has been a wonderful choice for our whole family. We lead a very active life and this amazing school allows us to work during the times that work best for us during the week. Having Mr.Salinger is a huge bonus. Eleven years ago he taught my oldest daughter and then we had the privilege of having him teach my youngest last year. She loved having him and is very excited that she now has him again. Every staff member we have met at ATLAS has made us feel completely at home and have all showed an amazing interest in making sure that all students are very successful in the program. I am proud to be a part of this new program.”--Sheri - Mother of 5th Grader
