Pre-Enrollment Application Process
Who Can Enroll
To qualify, students must:
- Reside within the attendance boundaries of Western Placer Unified School District (WPUSD).
- Be currently enrolled in or entering grades 6-12.
Note: Students outside WPUSD boundaries may be eligible for an interdistrict transfer under certain circumstances. Out-of-district families must:
- Complete a pre-enrollment application.
- Attend an enrollment interest meeting before an interdistrict transfer can be approved.
How to Apply
Registration is open throughout the school year, subject to space availability.
- Click the Enroll Now link to complete your Pre-Enrollment Application.
- Once submitted, our ATLAS secretary will contact you via phone or email within 1-2 business days.
Timeline
Here’s what to expect once the online pre-enrollment form is submitted:
- Initial Contact: Our secretary will contact you within 1-2 business days to gather information about the student’s educational needs and other necessary details.
- Document Preparation: Arrangements will be made during this contact to complete all required documents before the Enrollment Interest Meeting.
- Enrollment Interest Meeting: An appointment will be scheduled to review the student’s individual educational plan, as well as school policies and procedures. After this meeting, the student will be placed on the program waitlist.
- Enrollment Offer: Once space becomes available, the student will be offered enrollment.
- Welcome Call: After accepting enrollment, the student will receive a call from their case manager to begin their journey with ATLAS Learning Academy.

What You Need if New to the District
To officially enroll at ATLAS Learning Academy, please provide the following:
- A copy of the student’s current transcript.
- The student’s birth certificate (if new to the district).
- The student’s last report card (for students in grades 6-8).
- Immunization records, including:
- Pertussis/Tdap (after the 7th birthday).
- Varicella (chickenpox).
- Proof of residency, which can include:
- Utility bill
- Property tax payment receipt
- Lease agreement or rent receipt
- Voter registration
- Escrow papers, purchase agreement (new home), or closing papers (less than 3 months old)
- Paycheck stub
Important Details
- Completing the Pre-Enrollment Application does not guarantee a spot in the program due to limited space.
- Ensure the email address and phone number provided are accurate and belong to a parent or guardian.
